The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier was recognized by the AKC in 1973. This was followed by the formation of the Greater Denver Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club, Inc. in 1975. We have grown to over 160 members, including approximately 15 active breeders in several states.

Herding Fun Day!!!

Back by popular demand.  Sign up for one of three time periods. There will be a maximum of 10 dogs per session.  If you plan to bring more than one dog, sign them up in the same time slot. You will receive a “report card” for your dog, evaluating its herding instinct.

When:  Sunday, October 18, 2020

Reservation Times: 8 a.m.; 9 a.m.; and 10 a.m.

Eligible: Dogs 8 weeks old and up

Due to Covid restrictions, this event will be run as a “show-and-go.” You can observe for approximately 10 minutes before or after your session only.  Remember to wear your mask!

Club Board Meetings

Our Board and General meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of each month at Café de France, 2730 S Colorado Blvd #19, Denver. The meeting room will be available at 6:00 pm if you would like to order dinner; and the meeting will commence at 6:30 pm.

If, on occasion, we change a meeting date or place for a given month, we will send an email “Blast” to our membership announcing that month’s change.

Monthly Board meeting are being held by Zoom rather than face-to-face.  If you are interested in attending these Zoom meetings Contact Helen Reuben at helenco7@comcast.net to get dial in information.  We hope to resume our regular dinner meetings as soon as COVD cooperates.
