Sadie Finds a New Home!

We are so happy to bring Sadie, a 3 year old Wheaten into our home.
She is so happy and so is Gallagher. What a perfect fit. We love her; she loves everyone and loves being loved.
Our thanks to Wheaten Rescue for making this happen.

SAVE THE DATE!:
On Sunday, March 4th the Club will be holding a grooming workshop.
Have you been unhappy with the haircuts your dog gets from pet groomers but hesitant to try grooming your best buddy yourself? This is the workshop for you and there is no experience required! Seasoned pros Molly O'Connell and Patrice Chevalier will kick off the workshop with a demonstration of ways to give your Wheaten a terrific haircut. We're not talkin' show cuts here...we're talkin' great looking and easy-to-maintain pet cuts. After the demo, Molly, Patrice and others will help you get started with your own dog. If you have a grooming table and tools, that's great. If not, we'll have equipment that you can use.
The workshop will run from about 11:30 to 2:30 and will be held at Blue Springs 'n Katydid (http://www.bskddogtraining.com/), 2980 W. Oxford Ave., Englewood, CO. A light lunch will be provided. Let us know if you are interested in attending the workshop - with or without a dog. Dogs participating must be clean and combed out (mat free). There will be limited space for those of you who want to participate with your dog, but plenty of space for observers. If you are interested, you can let me know by responding to this email, or you can shoot an email to the workshop coordinator, Kayce Healy (kincora321@gmail.com)
Hope you can come!

CSU's Animal Cancer Center is recruiting overweight or obese dogs for a clinical trial of a new food to see if it can improve a dog's health. The trial will determine if the new food is more easily digested and how effective it is at curbing hunger.
